THE AREA
Santa Pola is a coastal town with a busy port, a castle and thriving mix of residential and holiday homes. To the west is the natural park of the Salinas de Santa Pola, and to the east are the Sierra and Cabo de Santa Pola.
The coastline is 13km long with urban beaches such as Tamarit, Playa Lisa & Gran Playa (to the west of the port) and Levante & Varadero beaches to the east. The coves of Santiago Bernabeu is a succession of small beaches separated by breakwaters.
Santa Pola enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate, with an average of 14’C in January, and 26’C in August – perfect for summer holidays and lets. Rainfall is very low and never exceeds 240mm pa.
